Rampart Range Trail Gives Adventure Seekers More Than Just A Thrill Ride

Apr. 30 2021 Miscellaneous By Peak Honda World

35 miles Southeast of Denver, awaits 200 miles of dirt trails ready to be the backdrop of your next adventure.

Rampart Range Trail is located in the Pike-San Isabel National Forest with elevations ranging from 6,500 to 8,500 feet.  These OHV trails just west of Sadalia are a great place to adventure this weekend on your Honda Motorcycle or ATV.

Motorcycle and ATV enthusiasts have over 30 designated trails to choose from - giving riders of all skills and experience levels a reason to come play in the dirt. If the challenging trails aren’t enough to draw you in, the views offered from various points of the trail will surely capture your attention.

Legends are plentiful here, so come prepared to experience more than just an afternoon ride. Some say that treasure may be hidden somewhere between Deckers and Devil’s Head - a story that emerged as a result of a train robbery in the early 1870’s. If treasure hunting doesn’t sound adventurous enough,  you may just catch a glimpse of Bigfoot as you take in the scenic views from your Honda Pioneer or CRF. Several Bigfoot sightings have been reported in the Pike National Forest throughout the years.

Whether you’re an adventure seeker looking for a place to ride or a sucker for a good legend, you’ll have plenty to keep you occupied on one of the Rampart Range Trails.

Planning on heading out this weekend? This great loop can be accessed from Rampart Range Road or from Jackson Creek Road.
